Beyond Language

The Poetry of Pablo Saborío

heraclitus

pensile monument

toilet_poem

of all the wonders
of the world
to marvel at
I stand staggering
drunk
looking at my own
dangling ogre
itself staring down
a white well
shooting a yellow tongue
furthermore
a spiral of energy
swallowing
its urgent kiss
till I stand empty
of purpose
and Heraclitus’
bare truth
before my
dripping sex.
